We like to help by making food without artificial means but with recognisable and fresh ingredients, unprocessed as much as possible and according to balanced recipes. Natural food, simple and pure.

At Energique, science guides everything we do. Making good and appropriate food is a complex process. The drive for knowledge is in our DNA. Back in 1996, Energique had a digestion study conducted by the faculty of Utrecht. Today, we collaborate even more intensively with the very best people in the field. We are very grateful to these scientists for their indispensable expertise.
Together with them, we want to develop appropriate food for dogs and cats to give them the best chance of a long and healthy life. The development of our meals is not determined by trends, fables on the internet or owner preferences. But only by knowledge of what dogs and cats need. That's why we regularly say to whoever wants to hear it. ‘’At Energique, we make food for dogs and cats, not for their owners.‘’

At Energique, making every recipe starts with the highest quality ingredients, sourced from suppliers we trust. Moreover, we apply the highest food safety standards known to the food industry: to a GMP+ certification, Energique also holds the humane IFS Food certification.
Member of the NVG
We are a member of the Dutch Pet Food Industry (NVG), the trade association of pet food manufacturers and importers in the Netherlands. Together, we stand for healthy and safe pet food, through balanced regulation and self-regulation. More than 80% of all pet food for dogs and cats in the Netherlands is marketed by members of the NVG.
